December 2016 Quarter CPI Figures have been released

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) Figures for the December Quarter of 2016 were released this morning by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The recent data shows marginal increases across most of the nation. However there continues to be a continuing decline in the Western Australian economy as a result of the ongoing contraction in the resources sector.

The below table represents the CPI figures from each of the quarterly releases for the last 5 years across the major capital cities.
